The Role of Funding Coordinator

The Funding Coordinator plays an essential role in managing and coordinating the funding process for both borrowers and lenders. This includes the onboarding, administrative processing and coordination of all steps required to book out financing and receive investor funds.
In addition, the Financing Coordinator liaises with notaries and other external parties to ensure that all legal and administrative processes are completed correctly and in a timely manner. This position works closely with account managers, finance analysts and financial controllers.

Responsibilities

✔ Coordinate onboarding process (including Wwft) for borrowers and lenders.

✔ Manage and maintain customer contacts and handle inquiries throughout the financing process.

✔ Process administration and documentation surrounding funding requests.

✔ Maintain contact with notaries and other outside parties for legal documents and processes.

✔ Ensure flawless litigation from onboarding to disbursement of funding.

✔ Collaborate with account managers, finance analysts and financial controllers to ensure smooth flow of files.

✔ Identify bottlenecks in the process and proactively consider improvements.

✔ Monitor deadlines and ensure efficient and customer service.

Profile

HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial, legal or business related field. At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or commercial inside sales function, preferably within the financial sector. Affinity with financing, legal documentation and process management. Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented attitude. Eye for detail and strong in administrative processing. Proactive work ethic and good at monitoring deadlines. Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.
