The role of Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for accurate processing of financial records, with a focus on loan and fund administration. Transparent reporting and optimization of financial processes within WDL Credit Funds are central to this position. The Financial Controller works closely with other financial controllers, account managers and management.

Responsibilities

✔ Manage and process financial records, especially loan and fund records.

✔ Preparation of periodic financial reports and analysis.

✔ Monitor and improve financial processes and internal controls.

✔ Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and accounting movements.

✔ Support audits and financial reporting for investors and regulators.

✔ Identify deviations and contribute to improvements.

✔ Collaborate with various teams to optimize financial processes.

Profile

HBO/WO working and thinking level in a financial or business economics field. At least 3 years of experience in a financial position, preferably within a credit fund or financial institution. Knowledge of loan and fund administration is a plus. Analytically strong and accurate in financial processing. Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience with financial software. Communication skills and proactive. Strong in process thinking and working under deadlines.
