Intermediaries, an added value for all parties

Geschreven door Maykel Hermanussen

Intermediaries are indispensable in the financial world, especially for those looking for a reliable and effective way to obtain financing. At WDL, we work closely with intermediaries to ensure that both borrower and investor get the most out of a deal.

At the table with intermediaries

We had another very nice series of lunch sessions with intermediaries. At beautiful locations throughout the country, intermediaries joined us. Good conversations, both familiar and new faces, and of course knowledge and experience was shared.

It was nice to see that many intermediaries already knew each other. Either directly or indirectly, so a lot of stories from the old box came out as well. In particular, about everyone’s careers at different major banks. Overall, there is a good and beautiful look back to those days, but for many, the position as an intermediary does not feel like work and more freedom is felt. Added to this is the wonderful fact that the market is growing in abundance, creating more and more opportunities for intermediaries.

The role of intermediaries in financing demand

Entrepreneurs know how to find WDL directly, but our preference is to work with an intermediary. This has benefits for both parties. We view a financing from the eyes of our investors and will initially represent those interests as well. We also make this known to business owners who approach us directly.

  • Expertise

One of the biggest advantages for business owners who choose to work with an intermediary is their expertise. They have extensive knowledge of options and can guide entrepreneurs in navigating complex financing structures. Their advice is often indispensable in making sound financial decisions that align with long-term goals of business owners.

  • Managing risks

Intermediaries play an important role in assessing and managing risk. They evaluate borrowers’ creditworthiness and develop financing proposals that minimize risk. This is advantageous not only for the entrepreneur, who thus potentially gets better terms, but also for the investor who invests through WDL.

  • Speed

An intermediary compares our proposition with the entire (ever-growing) financing landscape, ensuring an optimal deal for the entrepreneur. The advantage for WDL is that we get a neat inventory of the case in advance and can thus get straight to the heart of the funding question.

The intermediary thereby realizes added value for both parties!

In short men and women keep up the good work!
